Abstract

The paper explores the converging fields of sports nutrition and public health, focusing on the latest trends that have emerged in these areas. The integration of sports nutrition principles into broader public health initiatives has become increasingly significant, as both sectors aim to enhance individual well-being and athletic performance. This abstract delves into the rising popularity of personalized nutrition plans, the impact of plant-based diets on sports performance, the role of probiotics and gut health, the rise in exogenous ketones for energy and recovery, and the importance of hydration strategies. It also discusses the challenges faced in implementing these trends due to varying individual needs and systemic barriers. The study concludes with a call for interdisciplinary approaches to optimize sports nutrition interventions within public health frameworks.
